På den här turen får ni prova att åka Stridsbåt 90, en båt som är speciellt framtagen av Försvarsmakten för att operera i vår unika skärgårdsmiljö. Vi hämtar upp er vid Solöbrygga strax söder om Norrtälje och därefter bär det av ut genom skärgården. Det blir en fartfylld resa mellan skärgårdens kobbar och skär, vi åker genom trånga passager får ni uppleva båtens unika egenskaper. Väl framme vid Siaröfortet bjuds det på fika och det finns även tid att titta på omgivningarna innan båten tar er tillbaka.

Battle boat to Siaröforttet including coffee and guided tour in the mountain.
The combat boat picks you up at Solö Brygga and then carries it through the archipelago to the old fortification Siaröfortet, strategically located on the fairway towards Stockholm. The fort was begun during the First Host War and was completed in 1924 and was intended to prevent an enemy from penetrating into Stockholm. After lying derelict since the 1960s, the fort has today been restored to near original condition and is now open to visitors. Once on the island, coffee is served and after that it is time for a guided tour of the fort, which is nestled in the rock. After about three hours the battle boat will wait down at the jetty and drive back to Solö jetty.

Battle boat to the former Battery Söderarm with a guide in the history of the Coast Artillery.
The combat boat picks you up in Kapellskär and then carries it out through the Söderarm archipelago. It will be a fast-paced journey between the rocks and cliffs of the outer archipelago and through narrow military trails where you will experience the unique characteristics of the boat. Once at the facility, which received its first pieces back in the 40s and its last state-of-the-art pieces (Ersta battery) as recently as 1977, the guide takes you back in time and tells you about the construction and history of the Coast Artillery. You will be shown around the islands where, far down in the mountain, there are large facilities with lodgings, a combat command center, kitchens, field hospitals, power unit rooms, etc. The underground facilities are now sealed and cannot be demolished but were top secret and protected objects until 2004 and were one of the host's most modern fixed defence facilities. During the tour you will visit two different islands that were part of the Spärrbattalion Söderarm and the tour ends with coffee. After coffee, the Stridsboat will take you back to Kapellskär. Your guide during the tour is Björn Petterson with a background as a submarine officer and later head of the Naval Home Guard on Söderarm for 10 years.

Battleship 127 to the former top secret Gålöbanen and experience the ships of the Cold War.
A trip in time, we go down to the Gålöbanen at Horsfjärden and the Veteran Flotilla's event EDIP (A Day In Paradise) where there is an opportunity to see and sample most of the Navy's pride over the years. We pick up at Solöbrygga (Norrtälje) then we go down to Gålöbanen. We leave for home around 3pm from Gålö. NB, this trip occurs only once a year, usually on the second Saturday in September. Dates are fixed and posted in June.

About Föreningen Svenska Stridsbåtar

Rescuer Roslagen

The Swedish Stridsbåts Association was formed in 2012 to preserve Stridsbåt 127 in its original condition. Over the years several boats have been added but also other units and the business has therefore evolved to use the units for what they are actually intended for — transport and rescue missions to increase safety and security in the archipelago.

The association therefore has been running since a couple of years back the Rädningsvärn Roslagen where we have crews around the clock who are prepared to leave berth within 15 minutes of alarm. We cooperate with, among others, the Greater Stockholm Fire Defence, the Swedish Armed Forces, the Police, the Coast Guard, MSB, and the Swedish Maritime Administration. We carry out a variety of rescue missions every year and our motto is to create “Safety in the archipelago — in everyday life and crisis”.

.The association does not receive any government grants for its activities, but everything is funded through membership fees, missions and tours that we run mainly with Stridsboat.
